Default power steering/ hydro

Is there any benefit to running two power steering pumps with external twin ram full hydrolic steering? or will it even work if I were to T off the pumps? Maybe as a back up in case one fails? Just seems that i have the place to put it y not.

i thought the benefit was that if you lost one engine or wanted to only run on one engine while idleing then you would still have normal power steering.

i know cpperformance has a kit to run two.
