The last few weeks my computer won't open some links. It will open the link to open a thread but not any links inside the thread. I tried to fix the problem and now when I click on these secondary links it opens a blank page. If I copy and past the link into the browser the link opens properly. I then just backspace to the original page.
HELP.

Did you add a new tool bar with a pop up blocker?

NO I didn't change anything. Or add anything.

Are you using explorer 8? If so they have reported issues you are having the fix is go to explorer 7

Try holding down the ctrl or shift key when clicking on the link

try a system restore to an earlier date.

Download Google Chrome and use it for a browser.. Faster anyway.

I've ran into that also, even with bookmarks that have never been an issue before.

Seems like when that does happen, I have to go up to the address bar and delete anything past the .com

Most of all my issues are when there is a .html at the end. No idea how that got added, but once deleted and bookmark resaved, problem goes away

It is only with the secondary links. I can open a page but if that thread has a link or thumbnail they won't open.
