Question Water Impellers

Question about the impeller in a seawater pump on a 454mag bravo1. I put new impeller in and reinstalled back on engine and now there isn't any water coming out of the thru-hull exhaust but there is bubbling coming from bottom of the drive. What did I do wrong. I thought I put the new one in just like the old one came out. Any help or diagrams would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Sounds like you have the hoses on wrong, just switch them around and you should be fine if you didn't run it too long and fry the new impeller.

I agree with the above- If you ran the motor more than 30 seconds change the impeller again. Or at least inspect it for worn or melted vanes.
