Not trying to sway you, but have you looked at the manifolds from Revolution Marine?

Wow...those are beautiful. Is that a list price that gets discounted somewhere? With accessory brackets am I looking at a Grand per engine? Some how I just can't get my brain wrapped around that number.

I'vd ran the GLM aluminum manifolds on my 385ci SBC for two seasons now with no problems. Just as mentioned in a previous post, make sure the mating surfaces of the riser and manifold are flat. My mating surface on the manifolds were powdercoated and would not seal with Barr gaskets. I run two gaskets with a stainless blockoff plate in between. I had to sand off the powdercoat and make sure it was perfectly flat. Sealed fine after that. Mine came from Dennis Moore.
Not bad for the price but not near the quality of SM, EMI etc...
I replaced aluminum Glenwood Magnaflows due to the GLM's having a somewhat tuned runner vs the open chamber of the Glenwoods. They flow well enough with my Imco dry risers to make 475hp and hit 80GPS.

Sorry for the delay. I checked as I have only one complete SBC Alum. kit left in stock as I thought I had 2. I can sell this complete kit brand new in the orignal box untouched to your door for 700 bucks and thats including the Mr. Gasket manifold gaskets.

D. Moore pricing is the cheapest I have seen and have no idea how he sells them at that price because there is not much profit to be made at that price. I am sure he would have to charge shipping also to your door so I might be a tad better pricing for you as including the Mr.Gasket also.

I will call GLM in the mourning to check on another kit for you and availability plus any new pricing. Will post back up here when I have all the info on another set. Thx John

HI BUP, I'm in Mckinney, i'll pick up those risers if they will go on a 86' OMC 4.3L and you'll drop the price since no shipping? Are the aluminum better than the cast iron for fresh water?

jpw - 86 OMC for V-6 apps had a 1 piece manifold that is NLA plus would crack on the bottom back side very easy.

U will need a conversion kit for a 2 piece manifold set up to work for your 4.3 OMC. I would have to check and see what would be the proper riser that would work in GLM alum. app for this new set up. I still can help U with this. Let me know but I have to see what you are using and what riser height.

The 1 piece orignal OEM OMC manifold has a sharper degree down turn to hook up to the Y pipe than any of the 2 piece manifiold / riser designs - hense the need for the conversion set up. Hope this helps.

This is hard to ignore and the 'bang for the buck" factor puts GLM at the top of my list.
