use a heat gun and a plastic wedge/shim and work your way around the exhaust tip and it will break loose... that thing had to overheat to melt the flapper that bad...when were the impellers serviced last?? |
He sed the impellers were recent/yearly. Tom I wish you were closer so you could work on this thing and id pay you.
Since I have the rubber externals do I even need these things? |

That's what I did. I just used a big screwdriver and pried the hinges open and pulled the flappers of the pin without removing my tips.
Anyone just run rubber flappers on 525's? |

When we put it on the hose and fired it up they rattled horribly I shoulda new what it was LOL.
I'm just gonna pull the internals if you don't think ill have an issue. Thanks for the post/experience Dave m. |
