Default EGT sensor / CMI headers Question

Is there any worth put a EGT sensor to one of those bungs wich are (arrow places) in CMI headers ?

Have you checked to see if that is for water.

Thanks..

Just checked and Unfortunately, they were for water, so no EGT etc...

Yep, those are for water if you have a 4 hose outlet T Stat housing.

I have the livorsi/gaffrig egt and they have never worked right,or worked for long.2001

At the miami show merc is doing just that.....The new 565 has EGT's in the tail of the header..musta been a good idea!

CMI will weld in bungs wherever you want. I just had two EGT bungs and two A/F bungs welded in to my sport tubes while they were getting repaired.
