Since I`m in HVAC I use coil cleaner, was amazed how great it works, its acidic. Now I`m worried about having the stains come back so much faster thou..

On my old boat thats what seemed to happen more acid the quicker it comes back especially in brackish water.. I try to wax the front deep vee it keeps it white, i leave the far bottom a lttle yellow

The parts of the hull that are not reachable should not be waxed as it will make you slower.

Somebody got that. :evilb:
you shouldn't wax the part of the boat that is considered the running surface.

Well, he's right. You would be better to take some 400grit sand paper to it than wax.

How much slower will it make you?

A friend of mine lost 2mph until it wore off.
You want the bottom of the boat to have a rough feeling. You want to create bubbles that aerate the bottom. My boat being an f1 race boat was sanded on the running surface.
The wax makes the water sticky and it holds to the surface.

SLIMEY GRIMEY. You can buy it online. Its chep. just mix it with water and spray it on the yellow stains on the bottom of your boat and it will run rt off and be white again. Its good stuff!

Do you know if this stuff is acidic? I don't want to create a problem where the staining comes back sooner and sooner.

That would be great on a race boat .Then again if it is aired out to run there is only a few feet of the hull in the water anyway. But I think I will give up the 2 mph . But maybe that's why my 1996 looks as good as it did the day it came out of the show room . just saying

Power One by Fountain of Youth. Smokes any acid-based product I have ever used.
