crane marine boxes
installing these on a 42 fountain was wondering if i could run longer wires and mount these to the side walls behind the motor is a ***** to get to and thought it would be cleaner if i could mount them further away from the engines.

Keeping them away from the heat and vibration of your engines is a good idea . I mounted mine on the transom but i don't think it would hurt to mount further away .
