Working on my 2000 454 mag mpi. I have added an oil temp sending unit to this engine. I know that there are a couple of wires on the back of engine that are not being used. Any chance that one of the wires is for an oil temp guage. I do not have the boat right now to check and see if there is an extra wire running to the dash.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram? Quick internet search yielded nothing.

none of the wires are for your sensor. You will need to run a separate feed to the dash gauge.
