K-plane thru-hull fitting removal
Are the thru-hull fittings for the hydraulic lines pressed in or threaded? I put a little heat to mine and leaned on it pretty good with a pipe wrench and it didn't budge. Don't want to get any more aggressive if it's pressed in.

Mine are threaded. Wouldnt be surprised if they are corroded

No corossion at all but a chitload of 5200. I'm betting they used it to seal the threads. I'll heat them up a little more and really lean on them. |

Not so much heat the fitting, you need to heat the aluminum around it as best you can and keep the fitting cool as you can.

Be careful, they may look beefy but remember they are hollow, I can show you what one looks like when it shears in half!!
