I'm running a 14" x 4 usg filter with a 1/14 drop base I have no room

You need to be careful about the smaller flame arrestors, they don't flow much air. I called K&N and their 9" units don't flow enough air for my motor. I have a big cam and a 2.5 powervalve, a poor flowing flame arrestor will cause the power valve to close.
