Default Opinions on a Mallery marine fuel pump

I am thinking about switching from my mechanical to a Mallory Marine 140gph fuel pump. I checked with their tech support and the pump can handle up to 16" of lift. It's a gerotor design so less noise than a vane and more durable. I'd like to know if anyone has any experience with them. I looked at the Holley black pump but their tech support thought it was a little small for my motor. I like the idea that I can mount the pump out of the bilge at least 6" so it stays dry. I'd appreciate any input.

I have run the 140's for 2 years now. They are quiet and can be rebuilt if necessary. I did not know that they can handle up to 16" of lift. I have mine 6" below my pick ups in my bilge. No problems as of yet. I am ~600HP

I've had 2 140's on my Chevelle for 15 years. Still the same fuel pressures since they were new.
