heard of them slowing the boat down....seems you need to run 80+ to see any gain...and the newer drives see less improvement than the older ones....just what I have heard...

EDIT: As BUP (a very helpful member) suggested below, don't want you to get p'd off and run elsewhere but we are interested in the outcome, could be good lessons in it for all of us.

funny but we are probably running him off now. Will add - alot people who post problems with their boats / engines / drives that receive replies from others with help plus spend a bunch of time including myself to help - I hate when the OP never comes back to say what fixed his problems or if even infact that it was fixed 100 %. I really hate that part of it. I like to know when I am right and when I am wrong and completely wrong with what I thought the fix was. Just saying
