OSO'ers, My buddy has twin 502s in his 312 formula. Port motor starts, other you can here the solonoid click in the contol box where the ECU is but starter does nothing,, He checked all breakers,, Anythig else to look at before pulling starter which will suck?
Can a solonoid pull in without sending power to the starter? Or is he screwed? Any inline blade fuses?

There are btwo one on the starter and one by the 50 AMP breaker on the front of the engine, I have quite a few not needed starter changes only to find the slave at fault. Any time there is not an obvious reason for the starter not working always check the slave first.

If it's the starter make sure the bolts don't break off in the block. I can't tell ya how much fun it is to drill, tap and repair that situation all while lying over the motor upside down. I became an expert at it. One thing I found was that there s/b a bracket holding the front of the starter to the block to help support the starter.
