Default Dry Exhaust and Prop question

I recently bought a 22' Velocity and I am wanting to put my motor with my Stelling headers and tailpipes in it. As we were looking at this some buddies and I didn't know if the tailpipes would go in the factory holes. I told them if they wouldn't fit that I could run pipe to the exhaust flanges and run my water out a water dump in the back. They questioned whether it would get to hot and I wasn't sure. Does anybody know if this can be done or will it in fact get to hot and cause a issue? Also does anybody know what style prop this boat will like. It came with a Bravo and I have a Mirage+.
