Default is this good water press. psi?

at 2200 rpm reading 5 psi.
at 3000 rpm to 4900 rpm 10 to 12 psi
on a big block mercrusier with blowers

My 496 is 4 at idle. At 2000 RPM it is appx 15 psi and at 3000+ it is around 25-30. We are talking water pump pressure here for the raw water pump, right?

taking readings at the side of the block. until i get a few fittings to take readings from my intakes

Seems low to me but my experience is limited. I thought you'd want to see 20-25 with raw water cooling & 35ish with closed cooling.

That is right where my 575sci's run, never breaks 150 degrees.
