1996 HP500, Bravo 1

Took the thing apart 6 months ago and now I can't remember which way it goes

Which is the intake (suction from the drive).. bottom or top fitting ??

Help...

I dont have a HP500 but on a 94 502 mag it would be the top one. I ran into that a few years ago on mine. I was not a member then, but a buddy had a 454 with same pump and I marked my hose as a top and bottom I hope that helps you out.
