Help with Power Steering Actuator

I have a 1990 bowrider, has a 454ci w/ bravo 1 . my pwr steering actuator is leaking into the bilge pretty badly. I want to replace it but am having trouble locating one ( affordable).
Merc calls for part # 806034A2. I see alot of part #'s 80634A1
for not too much money .
anybody know what the difference is , or what parts will enter change with my app?

Is this a hybrid system with a cable helm back to a power steering actuator? I can't answer your question but I might have what you need. Can you post a pic? You can use photobucket or similar photo host site.

yeah, it a cable system back to an actuator. the actuator has lines connected to it from the pwr steering pump. will try to get a pic up later.
thanks for the reply !!!!

Search the Swamp Shop. I see them in there all the time.
People converting to full hydrolic have them laying around.
Or post in WANTED section.

I have the whole set-up from my Donzi. It has 3 seasons on it. Helm, cable and actuator. As said, I took it off when I went full hydraulic. I'd sell it pretty cheap. I'll get up pics too.
IDK if the cable is easy to detach from the actuator. This assy should be the right length for your boat though. I don't want much for it. It'll be a swap shop type thing. Say $50 + shipping.

Thanks TCH ! This is what I've been looking for. My problem is, still, I need to make sure of what other type parts will work in this application. Here is a couple of pics of what I have now. I know it looks kinda ragged, but that is why I want to replace it !!!

We had to do one on a Baja once, be careful, the older style, and the newer ones have different size fittings, and do not interchange, unless you change the power steering lines along with the actuator, or find some type of fitting adapter.

you have the early style, they are $$$$, replace with the later, much better and cheaper, probably have to change the 2 hoses if yours does not have O-ring style ends, simple change over....

You must change the hoses. hard to adapt with over the counter fittings from hydro shops. I spent two weeks and 50.00 ordering and buying fittings to rig it. Wound up buying new hoses from merc. $$
