Default 496 ho issue with leak and vacuum pump winterize

So I have a leak that only appears to leak a lot, when on plane and moving, like running 3500 and around 45-55 area, won't do it at idle and even when attempting to put boat on plane with engine hatch up a little bit to see water pouring, just know after I run a bit the bilge dumps what is to me a lot of water. The area I notice water, is on top of the pump that releases water for the vaccum system when u pump it up for winterize, it's on the right side of motor if u are looking at motor, on bottem, has a black small hose coming on top of it, the sea water goes through it, and has the white and free air hose that have quick connects, I can see water building on top of this, but not sure if that's it, I just never had water there before??? Any ideas?. Not sure how else to narrow this search down, or if I can pull this apart and look for something??

It's been discussed quite a few times. You can do a search for more info. The springs in your air actuator go bad after time. It happens.

You can purchase a rebuild kit for it, or just purchase a new actuator from any Mercury dealer.

In a pinch, I think the ID of the hose is 1.25" (but I could be mistaken). You can replace the actuator with about a 6" section of pipe from the hardware store.
