get a degree wheel and degree the cam. no way you should see that king of timing.

just a quick up date . found 2 of the sleeves were leaking water into the cylinder,,(head gasket looks fine . ), a friend thinks the sleeves were installed incorrectly. he believes the water is coming from where the sleeves are pressed into the block .. (the ridge) still does not explain the 60 degrees of timing to me . i will be taking the rest apart tomorrow and having the block pressure tested.
