Is it possible to add the side holes in my 99 drive that has the low water pickup?? After this weekends mud incident I think having both would have helped me quite a bit.

Waterfoul, I have never tried it. Maybe, but they are more than just holes, there are channels that feed water to the holes.

Jerry, thanks for the order! Heather tried to call you with your Delta tracking info but could not reach you last night, give us a call this AM.

Hey Marc,

I may be in need of a drive also. :(

What is the Ballpark shipping price that you charge to ship a new bravo??

thanks

2000, $125 will get it anyplace in the country, either by truck or Delta air freight.

Jerry, your drive will be there about 3:30

Adding side water pickups...

Waterfoul,

I have been told that it is possible to add the side pickups, but like Marc said, there are little bosses around the holes that I suppose are there to direct water into the ports. But since you already have the low pickups too, this might not be as much of a factor. You might just be able to drill the additional holes in the sides of the water passages. This might provide an additional place for water to be drawn in in the event that you drag in the mud again. You might still suck some up, but the fact that the drive has an additional pickup higher up might alleviate this.

Marc, I recieved the call from airport at 12:10 that it was here. Your even better than you think! :D
BTW, the 1/2 moon plastic peice. It looks like it must go in the slot for the trim cyl. pivot. Why did Merc go to the oval shaped hole??
Should I have recieved warranty papers with the drive?
And finally, I ordered a the new 2002 Bravo One with the upgrades, why does this drive have "Bravo XR" on it?
;)

Thanks for everything.

Jerry

Jerry, kidding on the XR right? The past couple of days have been a little nuts. Remind me not to take a day off again. The oval hole is used to limit trim in, primarily on some Bravo III boats. Merc just uses the same pattern for all the uppers. In your application the filler goes towards the front of the boat. Your receipt from us establishes the date of purchase, there are no warranty papers so to speak.

Wow, I checked the flight on Expedia, it must have made it on an earlier flight.
