Default Ethanol/Non Ethanol Fuel

What changes with higher horsepower fuel injected engines when using non ethanol fuel verses ethanol fuel. Sometimes we are able to get non ethanol 93 octane fuel and was wondering if this changes A/F ratios or any other parameters.

Any differences between naturally and supercharged engines with the different fuel?

These days the way its done is tune for ethanol blended fuel and it runs slightly cooler and richer IF you get non-ethanol. EGTS are higher on the dyno with ethanol/unleaded but this ethanol crap has become the norm. Its more important to test what your getting to see how much water the ethanol has absorbed more than anything, Smitty

Agreed, ethanol fuel runs leaner so tune for it and you'll be good if you get the "good stuff".
