Could use the money you were going to spend on the Procharger and build a mild 383.

Thanks for all the input guys, basiclly heres what happened....I went out in my buddies boat (same as mine but with big block, 10 mph faster.) When I got back I started thinking man the boat handles well at that speed I could go 10 mph faster no problem! Then my other buddy tells me he has a procharger for sale lol it was all the encouragement I needed. I think I will keep it the way it is and go a little slower for a lot longer : ) Thanks for the advice.

or buy somebody's 454-330 takeout for about the same money as the procharger. the alpha will like a mild 454 better than a wild 350. another option, dart or vortec heads. edelbrock rpm intake. a real exhaust. and a cam that will work with that stuff, and you will give your buddys big block a run for his money. it is always fun to beat a big block with a small block...
