Default Water leak in transom area

Hello all. This is my first post and am hoping to get some info.
I have a 96 rinker 502mpi with a bravo 1 drive and corsa captains call.
It has a pretty good leak coming in through the transom. I replaced all the bellows last month. This did not fix the problem.
I put my plug in, filled bilge up and water was running out of port side gimball housing on the bottom (twoholes on either side) where exhast flows out when hooked to ear muffs.
Aftere draining bilge, i put lower unit in 25 gallon plastic container with just the water intake submerged, filled with water and started motor. I could see water running in from inside the transom.
I cant see exactly where it is flowing due to the proximity of the y pipe being an inch from transom. I need a scope!
I also keep getting water in my trim resevior. I dont know if the two are connected or not? im not sure how the hydrolic lines are routed through transom to the connector block.
Any advise would be appreciated

I've seen the bullhorn flappers (the orig ones are rubber coated stainless steel) get loose, rattle around and get stuck in the bottom and eventually wear a hole through the bull horn. Might want to check it out

The Y pipe is leaking probably through the o ring seal where it mounts to gimbal housing. Could be corroded through where it seals but either way the engine must come out to repair.

another thing that kills y-pipes is if you drop a steel tool-nut-anything down there and don't fish it out. dissimilar metals underwater...y-pipe rots through. pull motor and back down the boat ramp. best way to see a leak for sure...but if it was coming out the exhaust holes, the y or the flange is your culprit.

sounds like the trim line block on the bottom of the gimble.follow the trim lines, its bolted in w/ 2 stainless bolts and a gasket.

Thanks for all the feedback. I figured the motor would have to be pulled, no biigie in that dept. I just helped a buddy swap a new repower in his sea ray this spring.
My next dumb question is, would it be easier to buy a block off plate for the y pipe? I never use the captains call anyway.
I appreciate all the info guys

bolts rsttled loose on the ypipe or rotted transom..if the bottom 2 bolts are loose then suspect transom is gone..
