Lol, I just built a new 700k house for us and yes she drives a new escalade if that helps explain anything.

700G house, Escalade, and she thinks this boat is to big??? WOW!
Sounds like some highg taste there, but I can only assume she has not really been around the performance boating aspect very long?

If there was underlining reasoning it would be better understood from us looking in on your aspects.
Not sure what you have had for boats, most start out small and work up.
Most getthe 2,4 of 10'itis, too soon sometimes.
I went from 19' to our 28' and it was a huge jump! However I have no regrets and the wife really wants something bigger!---in boats that is
Serisouly you should, and probably will have to, spend some time in on this one until you find something else. But I would truly get her on a smaller one 'before' you trade or buy! 5' difference in a cat is HUGE, unless your on a small body of water and that is all your ever gonna see.

Good LUCK!

I have a great solution. Since she thinks YOUR boat is too big tell her you think the escalade is too big. Sell the escalade and buy her a cheap small car and her own damn smaller boat.

When we lived in an apartment I had a 17' runabout. Then I built a million dollar home and the boat jumped 10' longer. I would have gone bigger, but trailering it would be an issue. SHE WILL GET OVER IT, OR GET OVER HER!

Park next to a couple big 32-40 cats and she will realize that the 27 is not too big. Keep the 27.
