He's in jail. His projected release date is 2013-06-13, but he's currently eligible for parole. 'pslonaker' speaks with him. PM him.

Here's an interview from Performance Boats Magazine:

Wow! I never read this history before. About the time you think the ugly side of Offshore is in the mirror.....

You're welcome. It's a very interesting read. Unfortunately, it got so buried in the Cardshark thread the first time it was posted that very few people saw it.

this guy is planning to get out and open a boat shop and expects everyone to follow him there and understand and accept his past.
If I understood the article, he stole a boat but it was an insurance scam so that made it OK??
What am I missing here??

I thought the same thing. Cigdaze, do you know if the owner of cardshark was involved. Ive been on that Card Shark thread before but there is so much bullchit so it takes to much time.
Seems if it was a insurance scam, he was the one to benefit. How did he come out clean if he did?

No, I do not know. But I have read the entire CS thread, and it has been stated that there certainly was involvement, and because apparently there exists some kind of good-ole-boy network in Texas, certain individuals were immunized from any ramifications. But again, I'm just repeating what was stated in that thread, I don't claim to have any knowledge above and beyond the innuendo I've read.
