Default engine spitting milky oil

Hey guys,

Was driving and noticed my oil pressure was getting high. The engine didn't seem quite itself and seemed to struggle. I opened the hatch and the engine is spitting milky oil from a hose entering the block located under the air intake. Engines a 502 efi. I pulled thru dipstick and it's a thick milky color.I'm not a mechanic and Im sure I don't have any qualified mechanics in my country that will get her back to 100pcnt.

My question is guy's, what type of damage is there? Is it on thru head gasket or exhaust? In simple English, Whats wrong with my boat?

Thanks guys

All the best

Do you run the boat in salt water? If so it could be that your exhaust valve guides are rotted out. It happened to me this past summer- Milky oil and rotted exhaust valve guides.

Could be several things, head gasket, intake water passage rotted, oil cooler, exhaust guides are rare but very possible. (I say rare but that is the second set I've heard of this season)

I agree with the head or intake gaskets but another option is your exhaust. My last boat had the 502 and i had the exact same situation milkly oil all over the place, my problem was a cracked water jacket in the exhaust manifold. If you run in salt water and its an older boat its a strong posibility.

I couldn't get the exact spot but where that hose connects to the blocked seemed to be where the watery oil started to come out at..

That appears to just be the hose for the pcv valve. It is not the problem, but rather the result of the problem. As was stated, there are many things that can cause your problem. You need to quit driving it and take it apart to find the problem. How many hours are on it? It may be due for a head gasket and valve job anyways. If you don't have any mechanics around there (where are you) to fix it, then you will have to start the disassembly. I would not let it sit this way very long or it will rust on the inside and possibly ruin the whole motor.
