Default Which Conventional 40w Oil (Valvoline or Neo)

I have been using Valvoline Racing VR1 40w since the engines were new. They are 540's. Is there an advantage to switching to Neo 40w conventional oil? Starboard engine will use some oil after 15 hours. Annual usage has only been about 20 hours. Doesn't seem to be that much difference in price. Both oils are easy to get at my location.

Thanks for your responses.

I switched to NEO P40 last year and have no regrets. I carry better oil pressure after hard runs, oil looks cleaner longer, and consumption dropped to almost nil.
