575SCi blower change

Anybody change from the stock blower to The Blower Shop blowers?
What'd you notice?
How about changing to "CFM" ported throttle bodies?
When everything was stock I had 4.5# boost.
After innercoolers, 3.5" pullies, cam and .030 over I'm at 4# boost.
If I go with the same pullies (or close 3.35/3.6) will boost go up because of the teflon tips? More efficient design? Larger TBI?
Is there math that can be done using my old dyno fuel numbers and EGT's to know if I'll still be safe with any added boost?
Thanks

Need an 8-71 with 5.15" snout for $1,200? :evilb:

If you were to do a blower change I woulds say 8-71, drop the chiller. Used to be a guy here from the midwest with a 38 fountain that had it all figured out, can't remember his name. Used the TBI sytem and had a burn for it as well.

To spend that coin and stay with 250 is crazy IMO.

I am doing the teflon to mine this winter. Have you talked to DPME?

The BS blower repacement seems to be the easiest swap out. I'm not looking for more power, just reliability and ease of install. OK, maybe a couple extra HP.
Another blower would require tuning, pullies, manifold?
No innercooler? Like I've posted, I leave the stick all the way forward for extended periods of time. I think they're a good thing to have.

Here's a link to a neighbor of mine's thread who did the swap your discussing last month.
http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/g...ci-owners.html
He used Dyers supercharger service and kept his fuel delivery stock with some mods to the bolt holes of the injection plate.
It was a lot more affordable than I'd of ever guessed.
He also got some great performance gains out of the new setup.

See ya,
Kelly
