Spend the money up front, something steel or stainless , skip the aluminum as they have a expiration date, run thickest wall pushrods you can with shaft rockers IF its in your budget and you will have a bullet proof vale train , I have had good results with T/D, Smitty

I have used Crower SS and found that push rod alignment will change. Used two rockers to cut and weld the push rod guides.. all the way around the motor. Installed the other 6 pair and the alignment was all over. Roller would not center over the valve stem. Switched to all steel T&D's with the plates. Alignment is excellent. Do it once, and be done with it. Just my .02...

What's the consensus on stud girdles? I'm running a .623 lift hydraulic roller to 6000 rpm with Pro Magnum rollers and I'm thinking about adding stud girdles.
