Default electric fuel valves ?

My current setup is murphy eletric fuel valves on each tank so I can select witch tank I pull from,factory installed.I now know one of them is not shutting closed like it should when power is removed.What do most boaters use to go from one tank to the other ? The one listed in eddie marine is very pricey. thanks , hf...
