Thanks for the replies. This boat sat for 5 years. i bought it last year with 30 hrs on it, it now has 75. i am going to tear it down to put head gaskets on it anyway, so i am going to go ahead and put a roller cam and a set of aluminum heads on it while it is out. I have been running a 3.5" pulley in place of the stock 4". I have a 3.25" and a 3' to try once it is done.

something else to think about ,a 525 fuel regulator just saying...

? Haven't heard of that mod. Fuel pressure for the 525efi is 43 lbs, the 575 is 30 lbs.
