Yea, I like that box. Wonder if 1 12 will be okay or if I should get 2. My Buddy just gave me 2 15 Rockford Fosgates but they aren't MArine subs

just so you know you can put the subs in the engine bay or way up front..if you fire them forward into the gunnels they will hammer in the hammer...

I run 3 JL 10's I like the punch a 10 gives you over 12's... of course the 12 gives more low end, but the music that plays it is not as common as music that enhances a solid punch, I love the Marine JL's, I am adding 4th obe this year since my seat is being redone, 3 makes it hard to wire with amp loads over using 4 subs... and it will look sweet!

The reasons Full Force mentioned is why I went with 10s originally. When I went to 12s I felt the sound was a lot more full to me.

Also note, you can put both 12s in a single box to save on space. I've seen a lot of marine setups in two boxes and that's a waste.

I had a really good situation with mine. That is mounted on the center wall of the boat and has a ton of airspace up front to do whatever is needed to make it sound loud. Plus there is a ton of airspace in front of it. Don't really know how all that stuff works but my stereo guy saw it and got very excited...

I still like 10's or 12's for over all sound though.

Any of these subs will not do you wrong. The RE is a steal at these prices. I have heard them in my friends truck and they are impressive and loud!! Read the reviews the reviews say it all.

I own the Image Dynamics. I am very happy camper with these subs. They will do everything with every type of music. The sound is super clean and can go super low also.

I was going to say a 15" sub takes quite a bit of air space to get it to hit right, more space than you probably want to use up in your boat.

Been looking at the Rockford 10 inch marine subs. I hear they are better then the JL's, which was my first thought.... I just need to replace my 2 clarion subs.

Anyone heard them before or the jls
