Default Cam choice on a 383 stroker

Hi,

I will get my new build 383 sbc engines soon. The spec is

4 bolt block
4.030 bore
3,75 stroke steel crank
SHP alloy heads
10:1cr
750cc quick fuel marine carb
Comp marine cam 224/230 110 cam

The engine should have 420hp .it is fine for me. Only question, does this cam timing work with my standard exhaust system? Alloy exhaust merc replacement manifolds with 6" spacer between manifold and riser.
I fear for reversion ?...

Daniel

Most of their marine cams are on a 112, are you using flat tappet or roller ?
