Purolator changed from the nice metallic blue to the yellow. I like the Amsoil filters as they have a nice black paint job.

Mobil 1 are black with some blue, red and gold lettering. A very good filter as well.

I like that pik. Never knew you could get an oil filter tha came from the factory with metal flakes already in them.

Not so sidetrack too much, long story short , my BB in my Chevelle was dynoed with Puralator filters. Put the motor in the car and changed the oil with another Puralator and it would loose oil pressure in about 15 sec. After a mild heart attack I found the filter colapsed inside. I like to use Amsoil, Wix, or Fram HP filters.

+1 from another recent thread i learned the WIX (what I use) does not have any type of anti drain back though. Ive always had god luck with the black WIX racing filters, all medal insides no cardboard!!

I been using the wix racing filters for a few years now. They are stout filters construction wise!
