Default Painting speaker grills

I want to paint my Polk speaker grills yellow and have been doing some reading. I have read where people are recommending vinyl paint/dyes. Like duplicolor vinyl paint and sems vinyl paint. My color choice is yellow.

Thoughts?

Anyone done this already?
