Default Corsa Quick and Quiet 25 Outlaw

My friend has a 25 Outlaw with a 454, It has the Corsa Quick and Quiet exhaust, He is thinking about changing the exhaust tips on it, looks like the tips on it now has baffles in them (And whenever I start my Checkmate next to him he gets mad ) So my question is how hard will it be to remove those tips from the transom?? What kind of sealer was used and will the old ones just pop out and be an easy change or should it be done by a fiberglass shop??

Not to many things on a boat are in the easy catagory but removing the tips should be doable. I installed Corsa with muffler tips my self and used marine silicone. Not knowing what the manufacture used could make it more difficult but my guess is they would use about the same thing. Hope you and your friend are in a high noise level area.

I just removed the tips on my Corsa for a rebuild I did and it was really easy. Four screws and loosening the exhaust hose in the inside. They slide out with a little persuasion. Install actually took about a half hour to 45 minutes for the four tips and was surprisingly easy.
