It's nice to take something apart and actually finding the problem right away. Boat would drift to the Starboard side and would need to be corrected every so often.

hydraulics are actually fairly simple.. I was in awe when somebody posted steering cylinders are over 1500. You can coilover shocks custom made with adjustable compression, rebound and multi stage valving for less.

Rookie- How did you get the ends off without marring them?

Pipe wrench with a sheet of urethane rubber over the teeth. I also had urethane over the jaws of the vise holding the thick end,
