What year 496? What is the actual current fuel pressure key on engine off?

Dont you have an adjustable regulator on the rail?

I think after 2005/2006 they did a pre-set regulator.

If it is running, leave it alone, dont start fooling with 2 regulators. The only way to know is put an A/F bung and get some numbers.... Dont start running all kinds of irradic pressures. You can take the rail off, cut the current regulator off (little round black thing on the rail) put an AN fitting and get an Aeromotive (or similar) but it will create irradic pressures at other RPM levels.

I sent you a link PM to an Aeromotive 496 setup...
