Yup if the boat was out you would be fine. But it has been sitting pump is dry dry i bet....

I have a five galon plastic jug that I fill with antifreeze for winterizing. Got the kit at a local marine store. Didn't cost much. You can run a V-8 for several minutes at an idle with 5 gallons of h2o.
