Dang. That will work for my new hoses though.

Is safety wire an acceptable retrofit?

Some push on hose state not to use clamps....so always check.

Tech Tip: I've tried Summit Brand push on hose...yuk. I've done a quazzilion feet of Aeroquip and no issues. Mostly carb'd applications (read: low pressure) though.

Anyone ever bought from these folks? He is selling PTFE hoses for what looks like a pretty reasonable price.

Not me, I've run Aeroquip all the way. Carroll Smith told me to. :)
