Having to replace both alternators, and was wondering what amperage most people run when powering bigger stereos? Are 50 amp each enough? or should I try to get into bigger like 80's or so?

How big is your system? I would go with the 80's if you can. They make even larger ones if you are willing to spend the money. However for most aplications that I have dealt with 80 will do just fine.

If you need to replace both then why not have them rebuilt/rewired? Thats what i did with mine! They both needed to be rebuilt and i knew i was gonna put a kickn system in so i had both done to 100amps....no problems now!

I ended up just putting in 55's for now, having a hard time finding the big amp in this model. I'll probably switch them out over the winter with a newer model when I have time to mess with the mounting and alignment.
Audio-- it's not that crazy, just a 700 kicker amp with 2 8" subs and 6 6" pioneers. Just trying to be on the safe side
