KC Baja, what was the final outcome with your problem, and what was the fix?

Thanks for resurrecting an old thread...
Actually, I still do not know the outcome for sure. I took it to a merc tech at the end of last season. He went all through it. Rebuilt the carb, replaced my MSD coil with a stock merc unit, replaced my Rapid Fire plugs with some NGK's, replaced the distributor gear and reset the timing. Claimed it ran out on the hose great. I have not had a chance to water test yet. Maybe this weekend.
