Did this last year, but mine was on a 454/alpha the tube was clogged with crap it used to overheat on long idles. Mine has been fine, run it until you have another problem.

In my case - and I think in a lot of cases - the corrosion collapses the hose down into itself and that creates the clog. Not sure you will be able to sucessfully clean it out. Just be careful with it!

well i was using a die bit to sand it out and it broke off now what lol and it went inside i have about a 1/2 in hole should i try with a bigger bit to go the rest of the way and maybe i can flush both of them out or should i take the drive off. will i be able to take the rubber hose off

i didnt see any collapsed hoses theres an elbow witch i removed and a rubber hose behind the drive looks good
