Engine water and oil temps too cold
I have a blown 454 and I am running a
Restricter instead of a thermostat. Also
Not running an oil cooler. Water temp 130
And oil temp is 175. Should I run an even
Smaller restricter to get temps up? I am
Worried about building too much water pressure
And getting my exhaust manifolds too hot.

I got 185 on the oil Sunday. I was under the impression
That I needed hotter oil to burn off any condensation
That may develop especially from running aluminum
Heads. I had a few drops of water when I changed oil
Last. Sounds like oil thermostat is the ticket
