Default Where to get props to try out? Help!

OK, I know about Mercury's demo prop program, and there is only one dealer near me... and he has, are you read, ONE demo prop... Rev4 19p. Thanks a lot.

So those of you who have done prop testing, where the hell do you get them? Do you actually buy props and then sell them if they don't work out?

I'm looking to try a 24p and 26p Bravo I and a 25p Mirage Plus. 23p High Five might be worth trying too. Most likely the 24p BI will be what I end up with, but I have no idea until I try it.

Thanks!

Dont feel bad, the only prop I wanted to try was the Rev4 19 pitch and nobody had one near me. I dont see why your local guy wouldnt swap a different prop if you bought one and found you needed somthing different. You might just get stuck if you found no improvment over your current setup. The other option is to buy used and resell if it doesnt work. Thats what I did.

I guess I should feel blessed .. up here in saskatchewan we have a guy who must have 400 props. If he knows you he will send you 3 of whatever you want , if those dont work send em back and he sends 3 more. You pay the bus fare and hopefully buy one. Hes prob sent me 25 props over the last 5 years and puts up with all my stupid questions..[ much like you guys]. If youre in canada its Palli performance in saskatoon.

Everyone has this trouble...

You need to find the right advise for you and then buy
the prop. As you have said if they do not have an exchange
program find someone else.

Out in California, Teague Custom Marine (Santa Clarita, Ca.)
takes care of me well. You buy one and keep exchanging
it until the right one is found. Usually by the second or
third one will do it...

Good luck.
