I would like to add a windscreen to my boat. I have seen the wind aways but I would rather do something all the way accross. I was thinking of getting a peice of 3/8 thick Lexan, but I cant come up with a way to mount it? I would like it to be adjustable As you can see it would have to be mounted flat to the dash. Any ideas/input would be grand, Thanks!

start looking up pictures of Sonics they have the small lexan wind deflectors on them, they appear to be mounted using formed tubing or solid rod iron which you could have powder coated the color of your choice with mounting flanges that would screw into the deck. Then your lexan could be slotted and attached through the mounting bar so you could loosen and raise and lower to your liking.
Now you going to ask where to buy, I have no idea you'll probably have to go to a local fab shop and see if they can make you a set or grab a cutoff wheel, grinder, drill and welder and go to it.
Aero-Marine does some really nice stuff, you might call them, they specialize in custom windscreens and windshields
