I'm looking into the mayfair full hydraulic steering system for my 27' fever. Anybody have any input on this? They make a 9 inch ram and a 17 3/4 which one should I get I'm guessing the longer one? Any comments or info is appreciated

The real estate on the transom will dictate the size ram to some degree.

I believe the "better" ram is the longer if you can make them fit.
