okay so I just ordered a fidanza 12.5 lbs aluminum flywheel so I'll report back on how well it works... LOL gotta love amazon... so much stuff on there. Also anyone keeping track this swap is not for the faint of heart. by the time I have the headers for this monster I will be around $8300 invested in the engine. all for a boat I paid $2000...hahahaha. could this swap be done cheaper? absolutely. I just chose to go with the better option of investing money into it the first time.

You remember the part # on this flywheel? just wanna make sure I order the right parts for my 6.0 the 1st time and don't have any do overs.

That one will work on a 6.0? Reason I ask is it came up with 3 different ones and the only one that had a description of what it went on said 98-02 Camaro. Plus I dont know what the 6.0 falls under in the LS family.

Yes, the only thing you want to stay away from is LSA OR LS9.

FYI 6.0L is usually LQ4 or LS2.

Yes it will work the ls family swaps over but like percision said stay away from the lsa or ls9 they have an 8 bolt flange. Lq4 and lq9 are the iron block ls motors. The lq9 has flat top pistons and 10:1 compression.

Bolting on the coupler and bell housing today, what did you guys do about the rear seal adapter plate bolts that hit the bell housing? I'm going to put mine in the Bridgeport and mill out a spot for clearance but haven't seen anyone mention this as an issue.

I haven't seen this issue. Do you have any pics?
