I have no stud girdle and have a .610 lift cam using comp stainless 1.7 rockers. I did grind off the little drippers on the inside so there seems to be a fair amount of room. I have turned the engine over on the stand and so far so good. I have a set of thick gaskets but they look like crap around all my powder coated parts. I guess I should pressurize the oiling system and rotate again and check for clearance to be sure....... I like the clean look of the stock covers with the built in little rubber seal and was wondering if others have used these valve covers with higher than stock valve lift. Didn't the the merc blue motors with the crane 741 cam use stock covers ok??? TIA..... TBF

Had the same lift/rocker combo with drippers removed... all good.

A.610 lift cam will clear with no problem.
